Why are Mason Bees important?Updated 3 months ago
Mason bees are an important and effective pollinator, especially in early spring! These native bees carry pollen on their fuzzy bodies, and because they are solitary bees, the pollen is not shared with a colony.
They also do not clean themselves in between flowers, which means they transfer a lot of pollen between plants.
Pollinators like mason bees are important because they help plants reproduce by transferring pollen from flower to flower. Without pollinators, plants couldn't grow!
