Why are my ladybugs white when they emerge?Updated 5 months ago

When your Pink Spotted Ladybugs first emerge from the pupal stage it's normal for them to be a light, almost white color. This is because their new exoskeletons are soft and they need some time to harden into their classic pink and black spotted shell. If you observe your ladybugs a few hours after they have emerged you will see they have transformed from white to pink!
